BMSI Welcomes Our New Deputy Managing Director

Exciting changes are underway at BMSI! We're delighted to announce the promotion of Chris Reid to Deputy Managing Director, effective 1st January 2025. This marks a significant step forward in our company's journey, and we're excited for the future under Chris's leadership.

A New Era of Leadership

Over the coming months, Chris will be collaborating closely with our esteemed Managing Director, John Axten. John has been a cornerstone of BMSI's success for many years, guiding our growth to a £33+ million company with over 200 talented employees, and it’s safe to say that his vision and dedication have been essential in shaping BMSI into the industry leader that it is today. 

Though John will be transitioning from his current role later this year, he will continue to remain an integral part of the BMSI family, ensuring that we will still benefit from his wisdom and experience. 

Chris, our newly appointed MD, brings a wealth of experience to his new position, which he has honed through years of holding senior leadership roles within the BEMS industry, and, most recently, leading our thriving Projects Sales team. Chris’ dynamic energy, strategic thinking, and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to drive BMSI towards our ambitious goals for the future. The board has full confidence in his ability to inspire and lead our team to even greater achievements.

This is just the beginning of a series of exciting developments within our Senior Leadership Team, and there’s a really bright future ahead for BMSI.
