BMSI help to maintain the highest of standards at Shell Tower
BMSI is a key sub-contractor on the Shell Tower Refresh Project, working to upgrade systems across all floors of the historic building. Shell Tower is located in the heart of Waterloo, within easy reach of BMSI’s London office, and has been owned and occupied by Shell International Ltd and its subsidiaries since it’s construction in the 1950s. Following the full refurbishment of the Tower in 2007, a project in which BMSI was also involved, the current development on the 26 storey tower involves changing the existing IQL Trend BMS Controllers to IQeco’s and upgrading all systems to the latest Trend IQ4/TONN and IQvision.
BMSI Major Projects Sales Manager, Tim Peperell has been working closely on the project and commented:
“BMSI is a prominent sub-contractor on the Shell Tower Refresh Project - the work is a fast-track fit-out with high level integration and many key phased handovers on a multi-level building, so ensuring that Shell’s very high Health and Safety standards are met is key to the success of the project.
Clearly BMSI have undertaken this work with merit as we have already received subcontractor, and employee, of the month on multiple occasions. Being involved in the development of such a historic and well-known building is a project that we’re very proud to be involved in - and by working alongside partners Shell, ACEOM, Overbury and Michael J Lonsdale, we’re confident of delivering on yet another high-profile contract in 2018 and beyond.”
