BMSI expand Canary Wharf portfolio at 25 North Colonnade
BMSI is currently working on a large fit-out at 25 North Colonnade, located just across the road from our ongoing large-scale upgrade at South Colonnade.
A large commercial building situated in the heart of the London Canary Wharf, the building’s floors boast over 500 BACNET/IP Fan Coil Unit Controllers and 200 Kaiterra SenseEdge Mini IAQ sensors, ensuring the tenant has close control – plus future smart control – of their space.
Consisting of a CAT B fit-out under existing shell and core provisions, BMSI is responsible for the installation of over 17 control enclosures across 8 floors. These enclosures will monitor and control the comms rooms and fit-out spaces, as well as plant and control plant rooms located on levels 16 and 17.
Work on North Colonnade is just one element of an ever-growing, impressive portfolio of projects completed by the BMSI team recently, including 80 Fenchurch Street, York Street and 40 Spring Gardens and 50 Bank Street.
Speaking on behalf of BMSI Major Projects Division, BMSI Director, James Smith commented:
“The work undertaken at 25 North Colonnade qualifies BMSI’s expertise in this arena. With a growing number of large-scale projects in the Canary Wharf area under our belt – combined with the extensive amount of projects our regional teams work on day-in-day-out across the entire UK – it’s clear to see why we’re ahead of the pack as the UK’s leading BMS provider. Not only that, but we’re helping tenants save on energy costs and hit their sustainability goals in the process.
