BMSI’s Time Peperell gets Back on his Bike for Mental Health Awareness!
BMSI’s Major Projects Sales Manager, Tim Peperell, is taking to the road once again for a 74 mile bike-ride in aid of mental health.
This is ISG’s second annual Cycle for Charity bike ride, and it’s first in partnership with Mental Health UK, which will see Tim and the rest of the cycle-team ride 74 miles of winding country roads across the picturesque countryside of both Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
Taking on the challenge to help improve the lives of people fighting mental illness, Tim is eager for the ride to get underway:“
I’m very much looking forward to enjoying cycling through the English countryside, whilst also helping to raise awareness and funds for a very important and topical cause. Especially given the alarming rates of mental ill-health recorded within the wider construction industry in recent years, this year’s partnership feels like a very apt and welcome decision.”
Organisers of the event, Cycle for Charity, are keen to top last year’s total of £28,000 (raised for Macmillan Cancer Support) commenting:“
One in every four people in the UK live with a mental health condition that affects their daily life, whether it be from their physical health to their home, their work and managing money. It doesn’t matter when you cross the finish line – it’s all about taking part. Our goal: to raise as much funds for people and their families affected by mental health problems as possible.”
BMSI are incredibly proud of all of Tim’s efforts in this endeavour and encourage people to donate generously to Mental Health UK, you can do so here - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/isg-cycle-for-charity-2019………………
